Wilderkind
Wild-found watercolor. The Wilderkind collection is nature-forward botanical illustration for people who treat a fern like a roommate and keep a sketchbook on the porch. Realistic, but a little dreamy. Field-guide precise, but painted with the softness of a morning walk.
Every design starts from observation — a barn owl in twilight profile, a robin's nest with three speckled eggs, moss-covered river stones, a cluster of woodland mushrooms rendered in careful stages of growth. We use authentic watercolor technique: wet-on-wet washes, loose edges, fine ink detail where the painting needs it most. Nothing is saturated past where nature actually lives.
Who this is for
- Cottagecore lifestylers, houseplant enthusiasts, and indoor forager types
- Birders, naturalists, and anyone who keeps binoculars by the window
- Botany hobbyists and watercolor appreciators
- Anyone decorating a reading nook or a home office with plants
What's in the collection
16 products across four nature subjects — t-shirts, mugs, art prints, and throw pillows. Pieces work especially well in layered arrangements: a print above a reading chair, a mug beside it, a throw pillow on the chair itself.
Featured designs
Wild Mushroom Botanical — a cluster of woodland fungi in watercolor study style.
Moss River Stones — smooth stones and moss along a creek bed, in the colors of actual Appalachian water.
Barn Owl Twilight — a barn owl caught mid-glide against a fading sky.
Robin's Nest Botanical — three blue eggs in a woven nest, surrounded by botanicals.
Every piece is printed on demand — the print you order didn't sit in a warehouse. It was made fresh for you this week, with archival-grade inks that hold color for decades.
